| So, that's the only thing you can do to make me happy eh? Fine. I will take it. | | |
| Finally, I am no longer a UBC student ! Thanks for those who took time from their busy schedule and came to my convo or dinner that day~ It really made my special day even more complete ~ So, here it is, a paper which indicates my 5 years of hard work in university ( one year in Japan having fun though haha~). So looking forward to entering the next stage in life ~~
It has been almost a month since my last entry. A lot of things happened: found a p/t job, SSGC reunion, met weird people at work, new "drinking moment" aka "I lost my car incident", me-a's bday, graduation, drank $200 white wine, found another f/t job, finished reading "Da Vinci's Code", non-stop eating from 7pm to 12am...etc. Everything seems going into a right direction except for relationship. What is going on now does not sound promising. Sometimes I wonder if I am still in the game or not...
About "Da Vinci's Code", so what exactly is The Grail that Robert found in the reverse pyrimid? I don't quite get the ending~ | | |
| Today's entry is dedicated to the leading guitarist of my favourite band X Japan---Hide.
On May 2nd, 1998, Hide left us. I am very glad that I was able to attend his memorial day last year at his place of birth Yokosuka. Outside the Hide Museum was a super long line up. Monica and I were able to line up from the middle because we met some friends there, but we still had to wait for more than 3 hours. We lined up to place flowers in front of his huge picture inside the museum. I was amazed that after 7 years people were still sobbing for his absense. It was a very emotional encounter with other hide fans. This year is the last year before the close down of the Hide Museum. However, Hide's music will still remain in my heart as if he has never gone away. To me, his music are not limited by time and still sound if they have just been released this year. Some of my favored ones include 50/50, pink spider, rocket dive, and goodbye.
You will always be remembered. Rest in peace, Hide.
